If you are planning a pilgrimage to Israel and its holy sites, this is a MUST READ! I have really enjoyed this book. The step by step journey the author takes you on through holy sites, history and scripture is expanded by thought provoking questions which invite journal responses. This book is very well written and I highly recommend it!

Bought use in our church group Lenten class. Loving the scripture and then description of area around Jesus walked, talked to the people and his mircles. Given me whole new look at Lenten season.

We are traveling to Spain next month. We are familiar with Mardid, but needed an updated map to make it easier to find things. This map is perfect. It is a maneageable size and is laminated, so sweaty hands, a spilled sangria, or a summer shower won’t ruin it. Alm imporrant places are marked abd it’s easy to read. We like it!

We used this map on our recent trip to Madrid, taking it everywhere we went. It came in very handy to orient ourselves, and to provide guidance to our travels. This was in addition to using a map app on our phones.

If you’re planning to visit Madrid we highly recommend this map. It’s sturdy and easy to use with accurate street and metro details. We’ve used Streetwise maps in other cities and have always found them to be useful and reliable. Great value

It was rainy for our visit to Madrid, so the street map rated a 5, as did the people and the restaurants.

As plans for the play begin, there are many other things on the minds of Touko and Yuu. With helping write out the play, they need to ask for help from their teacher who give them some advice. When the council stops at a local coffee shop, a chance meeting makes Sayaka wonder if she can truly express her feelings to Touko. But first is sports day, and the chance for a reward for Touko - a kiss from Yuu. But can Yuu pull it off without crossing a line that she has placed on her feelings?This story builds on the tension between three individuals, one who wants to love, one who wonders if she can fall in love, and the one who wonders if she can love. Seeing some of the other cast members brings more life to the story, especially when one relationship is discovered. This is building up and you cannot wait to see what is in store in the next book - shame we have to wait until the day before Valentine's day to see if something breaks.

Test scores and the school field day are major themes in this volume, and we get to see a competitive side of Touko!The girls' relationship progresses further in volume 3 of Bloom Into You. By the end of things, Yuu finally seems to be realizing her feelings for Touko, but she has yet to confess them. Her older sister, however, is beginning to suspect the girls may be more than just friends.My favorite thing in this volume is the introduction of a cafe manager, who turns out to be the girlfriend of one of the teachers from school! Their relationship is really cute, and the cafe manager becomes something of an OWL (slang for "older, wiser lesbian") mentor to Sayaka, whose jealousy in this volume first burns bright and then cools down as she gets to know Yuu a little better.This series has great pacing and characterization. The art is beautiful, with backgrounds as meticulously detailed as the people in the panels. I did see a typo in this volume but overall the writing/translating seems to be great! This is a series I will enjoy rereading.

This is one of the few Yuri with well written plot and character development. I've enjoyed every single volume. The English translation from the official release is the best translation available and worth the money. Looking forward to the anime coming out this October!

Not quite the generic "high school yuri" drama that we always seem to get, which makes it rather refreshing. The only downside to an otherwise sound tale is that's it's rather predictable after the 2nd chapter.

The amazing anime adaption reminded me I need to get back to the manga, and I do not regret it. Truly a great series!

It met all my gay expectations

This manga continues to be extremely cute and touching, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Yuu and Touko get more flirting in this volume, and their friends are charming and entertaining characters in their own rights. There's also a common poignant thread where they are torn between desire and the fear that acting on it will shatter what they have, that makes me root for them all the more. (We do get introduced to an adorable older couple who have moved past this, and are cute and domestic together, to provide a hopeful counterpoint.) And there's more ace-centric struggles as Yuu tries to figure out the balance of her affections. I can't wait to read more.

I have read all of the books in the Michael Bennett series, and this was by far my least favorite. The story didn't hold my interest. It seemed to be superficial and hastily written. It was hard to keep track of all the CIA/Secret Service characters. I also missed the usual inclusion of Bennett family members ( only Brian was included in the storyline) and there was no further development of the Michael/Mary Catherine romance.

I always look forward to the Michael Bennett books. I was so excited when I saw it was available!! $14.95 for a $2.00 book. I am not happy. This was so poorly written, I can't imagine Patterson putting his name on it. An interesting premise but no follow through! A widowed NYC cop with 10 adopted kids, and a grandfather who is s Priest!! Every prior book I loved. So much interaction with the kids, his job, his nanny, and of course the wise grandfather/ Priest. None of that in this book. It didn't tie up any loose ends. It was just "rush the reader thru and get to the end"!! If I could get my money back I would. I'd skip this one. As the kids say, it sucked!!

James Patterson et al have a winning formula to suspense novels. Bullseye fits the bill. I enjoy reading about Detective Mike Bennet and his family. I wish he would come to terms with his first wife's death due to cancer and finally get around to putting a ring on Mary Catherine who plays a pivotal role in his life and is much a part of his success with is work and family. This is a different review because I think if you read Patterson as much as I do .. Especially his series books, you know the formula minus a few twists but you really get to know and love the characters. His character development throughout each book is thoughtful and consistent. I think that is really what I love about his books.

BULLSEYE by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge is my 75th-plus Patterson generated novel and at least my tenth read starring NYPD Detective Michael Bennett. The book starts out with Detective Bennett getting involved with an assassination attempt on the new American president. Lot’s of technical details are built into the narrative as well as discussions on long range kill weaponry and even instructions on how an assassin sets up for a kill. As an aside, I have often wondered how the 10-kid Bennett family with a retired Catholic priest; the Irish lass, Mary Cathrine, chief nanny and cook, and family organizer with benefits; not to mention the occasional waif adopted off the street, manages to survive so well on a NYC public servant’s salary.Guess I'll never know that. I would place Bullseye in the middle of Patterson’s thrillers. As excitement goes—not at the bottom, not at the top. I did love the short chapters. I give Bullseye a 3-star rating.

This book seemed to be all about street names and corners and weapon types and descriptions and/or model numbers rather than story. The last quarter of the book is all that we really got excited about while reading. The rest of the book was just not up to par with the rest of the series. Please don't do this again as we really have enjoyed this series til this book. If you are reading this series skip this book. You won't be missing out on anything except the neck nuzzle on the last page.

It saddens me to only give this book 1 star because I love James Patterson and I especially love the Michael Bennett books, but I couldn't even get past the first quarter of this book. It was too technical without really getting into the meat of the story. It would serve better as a guide to tactical weapons than a work of fiction. I'm not giving up on James Patterson, but I really hope the next one has more story to the story.

Bullseye is the continuing series about NYPD detective Michael Bennett. This book is about him working with the Secret Service in trying to prevent an assassination.We go along with Bennett as he works with the Secret Service in trying to find a hired assassin before it to late. As with other Michael Bennett books, also will focus on his family life with his 10 kids.This book is written in the usual James Patterson style, fast paced, small chapters. I found book hard to put down.Recommend this book, not only to the James Patterson fans. But those who enjoy mystery/thriller books as well.

Wish I could give it no stars at all. I have read all the Michael Bennett series and loved them all until this one. I finished it but it was very difficult. Very boring book. I don't understand all the great reviews. It is making me give away the rest of my collection of this series and never buy any more.

I believe that this was Chetna's first book after the GBB Show, and it's as much a return to India for her as it is a recipe book. Full of stories and recipes, I found it a very enjoyable book, but then I enjoy a cookbook that is more than just a compendium of recipes.

Beautiful photography and delicious recipes. I particularly enjoyed the informative storytelling behind the various regions of India. A lovely addition to any cook’s bookshelf!

This book has many photos, and the author talks about many of the foods she has tried. Lots of stories and photos will keep the reader engaged. Breaks down the different foods by regions in the country. Recommended.

Awesome book!. The condition was noted that it would have possible marks in book or bent pages....wrong! This is the most pristine book I ever bought including a book store copy!!! The recipes are delicious & easy to repeat.

There are beautiful photos of each recipe, and the instructions are well-written and clear. There are some specialty Indian ingredients to purchase, but all are readily available online, if one does not have an Indian grocery store nearby.I've been cooking Indian food for over 30 years and have more than my fair share of Indian cookbooks, but this one is unique in that it focuses on Indian street foods and snacks. Now, the only problem I'm faced with is... which recipe to make first!If you love Indian food like I do, buy this book. You will not be disappointed!

I did not have to read very far into this book to find it disappointing that made me lose interest in my continue reading. I am not a seminary graduate but have studied eschatology for over 20 years and have read many hundreds of books regarding this subject. To start off, I am a pre-rapture believer and Ryan Speakman was pre-rapture but swithced to post-rapture believer. The interpretation of the rapture has been kicked around in four different areas starting with the pre-rapture, mid-rapture, post rapture and those that say it has already occurred. I have read all the view points regarding the subject and have given each a legitimate study. It is interesting how they interpret Scripture to arrive at their viewpoint. To believe in the mid and post rapture is a stretch. Definitely, post rapture is like trying to fit a square peg through a round hole. But, fortunately the viewpoint of the mid-and post rapture is a small minority Christians. Christ said we who are in Him (believers) would deliver us from the hour of wrath to come, meaning the seven year Tribulation; 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 5:9, Revelation 3:10. Why would God put his church (saints) meaning us through tribulation and suffering which nullifies Titus 2:13. Yes, the last two judgments are off the chart in suffering but the first judgment meaning the Seal Judgment advances the suffering to the last two judgments which is referred to as the Great Tribulation..

I was so excite to hear that this had finally been released. It does not disappoint. Same straight forward, easy to follow, logical approach to understanding the end times. Also a very thorough and enjoyable history of Israel. I highly recommend it!

Part 2 is a great continuance to part one, with tons of forward information on end times. You will not be disappointed.

this book will open your mind and quicken your spirit.. definitely an eye opener!

Looking forward to the 3rd book. This one had alot of detailed history to follow but worth the read! Interesting take!

Madison's mother was never a mother, a woman who flung from man to man leaving her kids on their own, Madison raised her siblings always putting her own needs aside. Now moving to her Grandmothers in New Hampshire, she is hoping that she might be able to get some support.Detective Ephraim Williams has been living in the boarding house for years, Ephraim doesn't attach himself to anyone not after centuries of being alone. As a Pyte he is a mix between vampire and human and despite efforts over the years to kill him, he can't die. When he meets Madison, he is immediately attracted and knows he needs to stay away from her. However, he can't he wants Madison but could she accept him for who he is and with danger lurking he feels the need to protect what he is beginning to think of as his family.I liked this one but thought at times it was a bit angsty. Madison is an interesting character but at times I think she was a bit immature when it came to Ephraim. I liked Ephraim a lot, he is a big alpha male who questions himself initially with Madison but once he makes a decision he is a force to be reckoned with. Great read.

I love RL Mathewson books. The neighbors from hell series is one of my favorites. This story was good and I liked the characters but for the love of Pete, did anyone read this book before publishing? The typos were horrible, numerous and down right distracting. It became so annoying that I was losing my love for the story. It's a story of a vampire falling for a human. It's a good story and I really liked it but whoever was paid to edit this book, should refund the money.

I always enjoy stories by R. L. Mathewson. The storyline is cohesive, the characters are always likable, and she writes great banter. This one is no exception. This is the first PNR that I’ve ever read from Mathewson, and it was fantastic. The banter and dialogue alone make it worth reading. The characters are just so likable and funny, but with legit heat and some seriously steamy scenes. It’s the perfect smexy escape read. But, buyer beware: if you are the type of person that cannot read a story with grammatical error’s, and typos, this might not be the book for you. It’s riddled with typos, mistakes, and grammatical errors, but for some reason it doesn’t bother me too much. I guess it’s because I know going in that finding several errors is a high probability. Who knows? Still, I definitely recommend this for a fun, easy, and smexy good time.

The story itself is worth two stars... but everything else was atrocious. So many missing words, typos, punctuation errors etc. I can overlook mistakes here and there, but there is no way any editing was done to this book. It was awful. The last two things that annoyed me (and this might just be a 'me' thing) was that in the middle of a paragraph it changes to a different person's perspective. One minute I was in Madison's head and the next I was Ephraim or some other character. It completely takes me out of the moment. And finally, it was too long. I skimmed the last 15% or so. I will not be reading the rest of the series. I see editing doesn't get any better so it's just not worth it. If the author expects readers to pay for their work, then said author needs to be willing to put in the time and effort to make it readable.

I managed to pick this one up awhile back when it was a freebie and it languished in my TBR for quite some time. I finally dug it out and when I realized it was a bit longer read (over 6700 Kindle locations) I 'gave myself permission' to quit if I didn't like it. Well, I finished it.The book definitely has some flaws that would have likely been improved by a tighter editing, however at the heart of it were two very interesting people who sucked me deeply into the story in the first chapters. There was a bit of 'and the kitchen sink' thrown in in terms of plot points, but I did chalk some of that up to the world building as there is at least one sequel. However, as the story progressed it did lose a little of the tightness at the beginning. Given some rather abrupt seeming jumps in time and perspective it almost felt like perhaps this had started off as a series of novellas that were then melded into a full book.Other reviewers have noted, and I would reiterate, that some of the word choices, grammar/punctuation/capitalization errors were a bit much. In general I can overlook a few, but there were just enough to pull me out of the story at times. Particularly bothersome to me is the occasional (I think twice at least) lack of capitalizations--my grammar skills are far from a mastery level so if something looks odd perhaps it's my own ignorance, however...the capitalization errors do bug me ('states' when it's really States, as in 'returned to the States from overseas'). Not earth-shattering, but indeed something to notice. For those who are more grammatically inclined these might be deal breakers.The thing that bugged me the most however is that I have a new author to add to my 'needs to check an anatomy textbook' list with regards to the hymen. It's just not all that far inside...yes there are anatomical differences, but still. Let's just say the hymen in this story had a bit more of a starring role so I wish the description of activities did not imply that the darn thing is that far inside. If you're in, you're in...this in-but-only-an-inch-so-it-doesn't-count thing is annoying. As for the uber-thick version our heroine is blessed with, honestly I felt as though we were reading about a septum not a hymen.At this point my rating is a bit difficult. The story started off as a clear 5 even for me, but the point of view changes, the jumps in time, grammar issues, and that darn hymen, started pulling it down for me. Ultimately there is some really good story present and on the assumption the author will improve (or perhaps get better editing) I am very interested in seeing how this world unfolds--I bought the sequel when I was about a third done. I'm forgiving the excessive plot elements as many first books do a bit of that in their world building--not that it has to be done that way, but I can forgive that one if the next books show it was worthwhile. Given the promise shown I think this could end up as quite a fine series.I am looking forward to the next story and I do recommend giving this one a try!JTG

I have to start by saying that I've really liked most of Mathewson's books. But her characters can be pretty outrageous, verging on obnoxious. In this book, I didn't really like either of the main characters. Madison was irritating. Ephraim made some stupid, nonsensical choices. And Candy was just terrible. A villain is important to a story, but all the child abuse was too much.Also, the editing was BAD. This book desperately needed punctuation, and it was distracting. :(
