I’ve read a plethora of marriage books but this one is different. It unpacks the personal/marriage problems that are the root cause of our sexual problems. The author’s definition of intimacy is different from everything I’ve ever heard. I find myself constantly asking “What’s the PM (Passionate Marriage) thing to do here?” The concepts of emotional fusion (NOT a good thing), differentiation (holding onto yourself), and the importance of self-validation over other-validation have made me a stronger, healthier person, and by default my marriage is stronger and healthier. I can not recommend it enough.I share some of the others’ observations. It is quite sexually explicit, though it is done tastefully in my opinion, not for the purpose of arousal like erotica. It also is very long and wordy, but it is worth it in my opinion. I have almost entire pages underlined. Will read this one every couple of years.

I initially had resistance to reading this book but as I got through it found it had great information. It has become a study as the more I read the.more I understand. It has improved my relationships immensely . I understand how i can improve my relationships by growing myself. Life changes when you understand your own needs fully and pay attention to caring for yourself. That has also resulted in my understanding the needs of others as well. I regularly "hold on to myself " in otherwise stressful situations resulting in easy and satisfying outcomes.I will be reading and really reading this book many times. There are.many distinctions in its pages. Highly recommended for couples and singles who want happy fulfilled relationships.

Love this guy! As a marriage and family therapist who works with couple's all the time, I can say this book is incredible! I love his model of how couple's can have a great relationship and how it's starts with cleaning up your own side of the street. If you want to know exactly what is missing in your relationship, Schnarch will tell you unapologetically. Highly recommend this book for anyone who is struggling in a passion-less marriage or feels like they are friends/roommates with their spouse. A must have!

Very wordy. A little hard to read and understand all of the psychological info. Seriously though, very wordy. I was warned about that in the reviews. I mean he goes as far as to describe what people look like, which felt more like a novel. Not just that, I mean he has a Preface, an Introduction AND an Acknowledgements all before he even starts the first chapter. I will say, that we have gotten a little out of it. Like not losing yourself when you get married. That you are two separate individuals. That you do not own one another and that you need to meet your own needs and be able to stand on your own two feet. He has a really long chapter about hugging till relaxed. Still not sure what to do with that. My husband and didn't understand what he was saying. Oh, and did I mention that chapter was 28 pages long! We are not finished reading the book. So I will update once we have. Hopefully, it gets better.

We're 38 now, and will be married 20 years in May. As any married-this-long know, the relationship changes over time, and in an effort to learn whether our relationship changes are normal, I found this book. It was an interesting read. What I took away was that instead of dividing you, maintaining your individualism in marriage aids your closeness and attraction to one another. My 19 year-old self would not have thought of it that way. My 38 year-old self agrees.

This is my new favorite book that I recommend to everyone I talk to. David Schnarch has taught me to stop trying to work on the "problems" in my marriage, and to instead let my marriage work on me. His work has revolutionized the world of marriage/sex therapy and brings important theories to the conversation. I'm so thankful for how this book has helped me grow personally, in my marriage, and in my career goals. I'm so thankful I found it now, because I will be growing upon this foundation for the rest of my life.

What a great book! Dr Schnarch is a sex therapist, but this material address the entire marital relationship. His focus is on how we relate to each other as individuals, how we communicate, etc, rather than discussing mechanics in depth. This book is doing wonderful things for our marriage, and we already had a great relationship. Highly recommend!

What a cliffhanger!I highly recommend this the first of three books!

I was a little disappointed. I love end-times/apocalyptic novels and pretty much only read Christian fiction for the great story lines but also clean language and without sex and extreme violence. That’s just not entertainment for me personally. So I’m very appreciative when an author can give a good story without including all the things that others feel is necessary for a good book. Though this author explains the need for her language choices due to the severity of the situation , other authors have been able to write about this same time period without those language choices, for which I’m grateful. We can all imagine what could be said in those situations without seeing it in print or having to be subjected to it. I usually don’t write a review if it is not a good one but I just want to encourage Christian writers to stay with their core values and give us good, clean entertainment with a great story line. I’m sorry that I won’t be reading the remaining books in the series for this reason. This is just a personal conviction, not to judge, as everyone must follow their own convictions.

I LOVED this book!!! First of all I am a very slow reader and need excitement on every page. The type of excitement that combines strong characters, plot twists and eventually the love between a beautiful loyal wolf and his fearless mistress is awesome!! (Don't get me wrong, this book may include a lot of strong feelings and love, but it isn't for the faint of heart) I just couldn't get enough of Ash and Sera!! I don't want to spoil anything, so that's as far as I'll go. This wonderful author really knows how to tug at every emotion in a brand new and exciting way!! I cannot wait for book 2!!!!

This novel was a page turner and hard to put down!! The overall thematic plot was prophetic in its telling! The nature of the characters and how things unfolded was always a guessing game! I enjoyed the viewpoint from this young characters eyes. The action was fast paced and gripping. I had to wonder what was up with Micah and how did he fit in? Very interesting... very! By the way, I was taken back at first with Ash, but as we got more along in the novel I wanted to see him fit more and more into the action!Very much looking forward to the next two volumes of the Trilogy. Powerful and purposeful!

I'm not usually into zombies and post-apocalypse stuff (OK, there aren't really zombies here) but I didn't want to put this book down. Action packed and thrilling, Ms. Leonhard takes us on a fantastical ride leaving me wanting more. How long do I have to wait for the next installment?Ms. Leonhard understands the mind of an atheist as portrayed by the protagonist. She avoids straw man arguments from both the Christian and atheist viewpoints and instead gives one of the most honest depictions I've seen in fiction of the interactions and thoughts of the opposing mindsets.While the prophecies of the Bible give an outline of the events at the end of the world, many details are left vague or open to speculation. This book provides some viable possibilities that are new to my thinking. That's what makes this so intriguing. Whether you believe this stuff or not, The Goliath Code is a great read.

Really liked it. It’s a fast-paced read and a little different than a lot of other end time novels. I just wanted to get to the end. When does the next one come out?

This book starts out like many post apocalyptic thrillers, but eases into a more important message of what is to come than most other stories of this genre.I really like the characters and am eager to read the next two books of the trilogy.

Yes, that one – the one where scenes from "Rosemary’s Baby" was filmed, the one where Jason Robards once slept overnight at the wheel of his car, the one where a resident displayed a her favorite stuffed horse, the one where John Lennon was murdered.The Dakota was constructed between 1880 and 1884 and opened October 27, 1884. It was built by the architectural firm of Henry Janeway Hardenbergh with the design by Edward Clark, the head of the Singer Sewing Machine Company.The Dakota was, indeed, a building well ahead of its time, with central heating, its own in-house power plant, the first elevators installed in a residential building, a gymnasium, and much more. Before it was opened for residency, all of the apartments were leased, and no vacancies existed from then until 1929.The book begins with an in-depth history of New York and the Central Park West area, including the dichotomy of the lifestyles and economic factors between the East and West Sides. Here we learn about the Who’s Who and Who Wants to Be and Who Doesn’t Care Who’s Who.The original apartments, dining room, gymnasium, tennis court, servants’ rooms, laundry rooms, wine cellar, et cetera were lavish or simply practical, according to function. No cost was spared. We find that over the years, even at the onset, residents took to moving and rebuilding walls and reconfiguring the space. One resident even had a sunken pool installed, only to be covered over at another time, and then rediscovered during a future remodeling project decades later.There are numerous stories about many of the residents and the employees, their quirkiness, their practicalities, and their contributions and influence on The Dakota. There are people whose names were, or are, well-known, and those who are now shadows in history or pop culture, but intriguing nonetheless.The building became a co-op in the early 1960s, and we learn how that occurred with all its brouhaha, and how that continues to impact its operation today – or at least until 1979 when this book was published.This is a very tightly-written book and is, therefore, extremely interesting and difficult to put down. Each chapter is filled with so much material on the people, politics, cloak-and-dagger tomfooleries, and economic data that I want to learn more, yet it’s a shame that the book ends its account in 1979. It practically screams for an addendum to share what happened since then.I recommend “Life at the Dakota” for anyone who likes history, architecture, mystery, intrigue, and/or entertaining ideas. Yes, it even has a trio of old cocktail recipes.There is a book that has it all, a book that holds your attention, a book that makes you want to know more – this is it!

A great read! I love great stories about the rich and famous, the adventurous, and just about interesting people. Life At the Dakota has this and more. The author gives us the history of how this apartment building came to be constructed and in the process, we learn a lot about New York City at the turn of the 20th Century. I knew that the film, Rosemary's Baby was set at the Dakota (although given a different name in the film) but I had no idea of the quirkiness of the actual building and its tenants over the years. I also knew that John and Yoko Lennon were probably its most famous tenants, along with Lauren Bacall and even Boris Karloff, and, of course, that John Lennon was murdered right in front of the Dakota. However, you won't read about that tragedy in this book. If there is one fault, it's that the story only goes to the late 1970's, maybe 1978, 1979, so there is no mention of the Lennon murder (which occurred in 1980, probably just after this book was published). But don't let that stop you from reading this book. Written by a man who probably loved New York and certainly the Dakota, this enthusiastic ode to both is an enjoyable read.

Great read. It is fascinating to read about an old building and its place in time. If I were a New Yorker, I would want this book on my coffee table for my friends to look over/thumb through when they got tired of the party and didn't want to go home - just yet. The book takes the reader back to the very beginning - before the idea of this building was conceived. If you like to learn about monuments, and this building is a monument, you will enjoy this book. You will learn who bought apartments there and why, and also learn bout the newer generations who now occupy entire floors, suites, and small apartments. You will also learn how the occupants got control over the building and how they learned to govern themselves. Like I said it's a fascinating story and well written.

Like several other reviewers I didn't realize it was published a long time ago before the John Lennon shooting. But it was a good historical study and althoughI wasn't familiar with most of the tenants it was interesting to learn about them. I'm amazed how loosey goosey the managers have been over the years on the maintenance and fee collection. I don't know how they've kept the place running. I'm on the side of getting the outside power washed - it looks dirty to me. Others think it's part of the aura of the place and also are afraid the exterior would fall apart and be too expensive to repair. So I guess I would say it's an interesting read but I thought it would have more current information.

It was written by someone with lots of sysadmin experience and it's a great guide to get from 0 to 60 with ansible, even if you have no coding experience.By going through a solid example (LAMP stack) and taking it through to the cloud, then back to VMware, I'm learning idiomatic ansible and I'm feeling like I'm getting a strong foundation in it.

For somoeone new to automation using Ansible I would advice patience by getting the basics in place from online tutorials and free courses from other sites as this book is more like a guide on how to fly an airplane using autopilot. Ridderbos gives us an in-depth examination of the key features of Jesus' teaching on the kingdom of God (which came to us by virtue of His incarnation) and its promise (our full entrance into it at His coming again). For a Christian, the fulfillment and the promise of the kingdom of God is one of the most difficult concepts to wrap our minds around even though we live it from day to day. Ridderbos does a masterful job of addressing those theologians who would muddle the concept and debunking their lukewarm theories as well as forcefully expounding on the Biblical teaching that clarify Jesus' teaching on the kingdom.Ridderbos' work is much to be recommended for the uplifting of soul and mind as Christians ponder our unique life in the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ.

When studying the Kingdom of God, I go to Ridderbos quite often. Great work.

Herman Nicolaas Ridderbos (1909-2007) was a pastor and theologian in the Reformed Church in the Netherlands, and taught New Testament at the Theological School of the Reformed Churches of the Netherlands. He wrote many other books, such as When the Time Had Fully Come: Studies in New Testament Theology,Paul: An Outline of His Theology,The Epistle of Paul to the Churches of Galatia, etc.He states, "The first thing to do is to establish that there is no material difference between the terms 'kingdom of heaven' and 'kingdom of God.' Mark alone makes use of the latter combination... Matthew ... uses the phrase 'the kingdom of God' only a few times... Almost everywhere else he uses 'the kingdom of heaven.'" (Pg. 18-19)Of the interpretation of Matthew 16:17-18, he says, "many Protestant exegetes have considered that by the words 'this petra,' it was not the person but the faith, the confession or the office of Peter that was meant... In our opinion such explanations are far from convincing. The use of the word 'petra' can be best explained by consulting the original meaning of the word... The most natural view is that 'petra' is simply a repetition of 'petros.' Here, Christ certainly means Peter himself." (Pg. 358-359)On the dating of the Last Supper, he says, "The historical objection must, therefore, be reduced to the description that John seems to give in 19:14 and in 18:28, to the effect that on the day of Jesus' death the paschal meal had still to be eaten... we are here confronted with one of the most difficult questions about the relation between the synoptics and John... From a historical point of view there is, in our opinion, no other way in the discussion of the synoptic account than to start from the assumption that the institution of the Lord's Supper took place DURING THE PASSOVER MEAL." (Pg. 421, 423)Of Jesus' apocalyptic discourses (Mt 24:15-, Mk 13:14-, Lk 21:20-), he observes, "the way in which Matthew and Mark speak of the cause of the coming tribulation is much less concrete and much more concerned with the desecration of the holy of holies than is Luke who... speaks of the siege of Jerusalem... we must emphaticallly maintain that what is said in Mark and Matthew about these events was not at all realized completely in the fall of Jerusalem. For it is questionable whether the description of the 'abomination of desolation' can be considered as exhaustively fulfilled by the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70... Luke does not mention the 'abomination of desolation' but speaks of the seige of Jerusalem. And in Luke the tribulation does not have the eschatological coloring that it has in Matthew and Mark... There is only one way in which we may explain this, and that is the coalescence of two motifs in Matthew and Mark... The question as to whether or not Luke's greater distinctness about these things is to be explained in a similar way... must be left undecided." (Pg. 493, 495-496)This is an excellent commentary on many themes of the gospels, and will be of interest to most Christians---not just with a Reformed background---studying the gospels.

Especially the Gospel narratives had come under intense scrutiny and criticism by anti-supernaturalists. Of course, as the obvious title (and quote above) to this present volume implies, they have to be rejected. The claims of Jesus, Ridderbos will show, take precedence over everything else.To the future revelation of kingly glory Ridderbos attached certain provisos:'The kingdom of God is not a state or condition, not a society created and promoted by men. It will not come through an immanent earthly evolution, nor through human moral action; it is not men who prepare it for God. The kingdom of heaven is, therefore, absolutely transcendent in its origin, it is the revelation of God's glory. Viewed from the human standpoint, therefore, the kingdom of heaven is in the first place something to keep praying and waiting for with perseverance.' p 24In opposition to every kind of metaphysics, Ridderbos believes the revelation of the kingdom is the revelation of Christ, thereby emphasizing the christological character of the evangelical message. The incarnation led to the proclamation which led to the realization. 'The manifestation of the kingdom of heaven cannot be conceived as an impersonal metaphysical event, but the coming of God Himself as king. This conception is borne out by a whole series of parables about the kingdom of God.' p 25 The stage is set for a redemptive-historical supremacy in hermeneutics by doing justice to both the eschatological view and the present character of the kingdom. 'On the other hand, the parables indicate the special veiled way in which the kingdom has come. The wisdom offered in it, the mysteries revealed in it, are only knowable to those who have been privileged to understand the fundamental truth: the coming of the kingdom in Christ.' p 127Much modern exegesis equates Israel's rejection of their Messiah as a postponement of the coming of the kingdom, yet both John the Baptist and then Jesus Himself proclaimed that the kingdom of God was at hand in the person of Christ the Messiah. To be sure, New Testament writers linked the coming of the kingdom with the first advent of our Messiah. 'We have seen that the Old Testament most often speaks of its coming as the coming of a person. The same observations hold for Jesus' use of the word "basileia". Until now we have translated it as kingdom, but in Greek it may mean kingship, kingly dominion, and kingdom. There is no doubt that the former sense, especially that of dominion as the exercise of royal dignity, is the most prominent usage of the word in various central pronouncements.' pp. 24-25 "Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!" exclaimed Nathanael.Moreover, Ridderbos cautions us not to forcibly narrow the meaning of the kingdom by absolutizing only a certain aspect at the expense of others. 'It may not for a moment be doubted that John saw the Messiah in Him. Nor is there any doubt possible that John's description of the Messiah's importance passes far beyond the nationalistic Messiah-ideal, and is entirely dominated by the thought of the transcendent and universal judgment which will attend the appearance of the coming king.' p 29 It is not to be exclusively restricted to the perspective of the restoration of Israel and the subjugation of her enemies.'In Col 2:15 Paul speaks of the conquest of the principalities and powers as having in principle been accomplished in the cross of Christ. In Rom 8:38-39 he assumes that even now Christ so reigns over and controls death and life, and principalities and powers, as to preclude every separation of the Christian from the love of God in Him.' Geerhardus Vos, The Pauline Eschatology p 245Conversely, Ridderbos cautions 'Yet it should not be conceived of as exclusively future. Again and again it appears that the salvation of the kingdom is assigned to the disciples and the faithful in general as a present reality. To Zacchaeus of Jericho Jesus says with great emphasis: "This day is salvation come to this house." (Luke 19:9) The 'receiving' of the kingdom must needs be understood as something that precedes the 'entry' into it.' p 79 Central to the messianic mission of the incarnate Redeemer, Ridderbos asserted that 'The evangelists want to indicate that Jesus' word and work revealed the absolute, the supernatural, and the divine in such a way that even the multitude could not but be aware of it.' p 74An illuminating study on the already-and-not-yet character of the kingdom is realized here. The persistent interpolation in Ridderbos' work between the coming of the kingdom in Christ, and its future coming in glory, Ridderbos ontologically interrelates as 'the fact that the final coming of the kingdom of God is entirely based on God's action.' p 146 The reader evokes much comfort from the fact that Ridderbos, who was highly familiar with Scripture, did not impose his own theory or ideas, but remained conscious of letting the Word speak for itself, as if he were determined to fix his mind, heart and strength exclusively on the Lord Jesus Christ. Only this can account for why Ridderbos invests in this monumental study so much attention to the testimony of the synoptic gospels.'There can be no doubt that in Jesus' preaching the great future perspective has been maintained. So every conception that the kingdom of heaven is an exclusively religious-ethical good, a spiritual community or a social order within the limits of this world is in open conflict with the gospel.' p 43

Rev. Mathison delivers a good, down-home and accessible daily devotional to go with the Stewardship Campaign of the same name. Many people (especially older Christians who are used to "the country preacher" type) in my congregation found this a great read without the esoteric language of some other authors, and the friendly style with which Rev. Mathison writes is a great way to bring people into the discussion, no matter their age. I do wish he had used less of the storytelling tangents (random, quick stories/quips thrown in to the middle of an explanation), but that is probably just my personal taste, as some people do like that sort of thing.Another piece which kept this from getting 5 stars, is that the membership vows have been updated for the UMC and are not reflected in this book: prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. "Witness" is pretty much left out as a named theme, but the way I got around that was to plug "witness" in to Commitment Sunday. Thus my congregation was witnessing to their faith by pledging to our common ministry in 2015. It worked, and the readings even go with it without explicitly naming it as "witness," but further consonance would be appreciated considering this change happened in 2008.The Study as a whole campaign is a good one and is very simple to execute. I would give the actual book 3 stars, but the campaign as a whole upped the star count since it is such a good study especially for a church with limited resources.

I love this book! A few years ago our pastor had our whole church use it as a book study. We were using it to help us become more involved with stewardship in our church. I really enjoyed it. A couple of years ago I decided to reread it as part of a Lenten challenge to myself. It has 40 short chapters which works out perfectly. I couldn't ask for better topics: how God loves us, prayer, how important it is to be part of your church family, etc. Last year I went to get the book out for the season of lent and remembered that I had let someone borrow it (I have no idea who). I was thrilled when I saw the Kindle edition. Now I can't lose it! I am again reading it for Lent. Such a great read!

As a United Methodist pastor, our church decided on this study for a stewardship series but it is so much more than that. I was thrilled to realize that it took us back to the principles of membership commitment in the United Methodist Church. The only thing missing is a section on witness now that the General Conference made the change to the membership vows. Maybe John Ed could write a supplement to the book to include witness. I would recommend this even as a tool prior to new members joining so they know what is expected of them.

Many many many many examples of truth in Christianity. Not much new thought

Our church has wonderful studies and this book is currently being used. The church needs participants to buy their own books and they cost nearly 20.00 retail not really in my budget. I waa able to get the book for less than half of that from amazon!The book is truly transforming and I highly recommend it for a personal read or a small group study. I was blessed enough to meet the author when he did a training about this very book. I hope you get a chance to study this and go to the training if one is in your area. You will not be sorry you purchased the book and if you are part of a small church as I am buying on amazon is a great way to make studies affordable!!

This is an excellent eye and soul opening book! Makes you re-think things in your life and in your church, re-evaluate your priorities, excuses, and actions. Re-grounds you in prayer and re-centers your focus. An excellent easy read, easy to get concepts that are potentially soul shaping and infectious :)

I first heard of this book when one of my church members recommended getting a group together to study the lessons in this book. I have been reading, thinking and praying through each chapter. I like that it is not "preachy" or too fundamental but a real-world approach to deepening spiritual understanding.

This book was use my 120 people in our church as a Bible Study. The subjects in the book relate to the vows of membership in the United Methodist Church in the United States. There is also another book that can be used with it titled Transformed Giving that was use in our church as a Stewardship campaign. The book is an easy read.John Ed Mathison, the author, uses Biblical principals, humorous stories throughout the book that keeps the readerintrigued by his style of writing.

I received this book for free, through a promotion by the author. I think it was a penny plus shipping and handling. It's basically a half-dozen pages of the author explaining the 80/20 rule (which you can simply read on Wikipedia). What follows is 100 pages of the author telling you that the rule is amazing, everyone who has come to understand the rule has had their mind blown, and your personal and professional life will be radically transformed if you simply use the rule. It's a bizarre book. A cultish, hypnotic loop. Tony-Robbins-type stuff. Over, and over again, the author repeats the rule and just keeps talking about amazing it is. But that's about it.The book is vague in its target audience (anyone in "sales" or "marketing"), and that's probably intentional on the author's part-- in order to sell more books and seminar packages. It becomes pretty obvious once you've read the book that what the author really wants is not for you to be amazed by the content of the book, but for you to give him your email address. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that. It's just a form of marketing. He wants a list of prospective clients with which to sell seminar packages. This is an old technique. I once remember a furniture salesman telling me that his sales went through the roof once he started giving full-size candy bars (not the "fun size" or "bite size") to prospective customers. It's called the "principle of reciprocity" and the author is using it here by giving away a free book in return for your contact information.The book itself is short on details as to how to actually put the 80/20 rule to use. The author has a hard-on for extraordinarily wealthy people who can pay nearly limitless amounts of money for a widget or service. Who in sales doesn't? But attraction to wealthy consumers alone is not helpful. His theory is that you should ignore the 80% of the people who can't afford your widget or who will be difficult to sell to, and instead focus on the 20% who can afford your widget or who will be easy to sell to. Okay, great! How do we do that? *crickets*I give the book three stars because even though it was a disappointment, it was free, and I've certainly read many worse books on sales and marketing.

The '80/20 Rule' isn't a rule at all - it's a LAW. And just as the Law of Gravity effects your daily life in many ways everyday - so does the Law of 80/20. Bottom line: Understanding 80/20 will enrich your life - and pocketbook - in ways you can't begin to imagine. NOTE: Perry also provides a number of resources/tools you can access to help with EXECUTION (ie -just don't 'learn' - DO)

This is definitely an all-time classic and must read for Internet Marketers as well as anyone in general. I literally start off each work day and determine WHAT is the 80/20 needle mover that I can implement today.This has never failed me and even if I work 2 hours in a given day if a crisis or issue comes up in the business, I know I moved the needle forward as I do the 80/20 FIRST THING, EVERY DAY.Also, this is an easy and entertaining read so you can knock it out in a few days but its extremely impactful.

Perry Marshall gave me Massive new insights into how Powerful the 80/20 rule is in my business, but more then that he shows how it can be quantified so that you can work on the 20% that actually matters and will grow the business. This is one of the most important business books EVER. And I mean that. I have read it through TWICE and have referred to it again and again. This is a tool box in a book. Seriously get it. And then focus on the 80/20, 95/5, 99/1 , it will blow your mind and fatten your wallet! - Gene K.

A great book. It takes the 80/20 principal to a deeper and amazing depth that I never realised existed. If you think you understand the Pareto principal but only use it at the first level you will be in for a surprise. Start with 80/20 and then apply the 80/20 principal to the previous "20", then do it again to the remaining 20 and so on. You will need to read the book to see the magic that appears (especially in relation to price points for your products).

I can't say enough about this book. My business coach recommended it to me last year when I was really spinning my wheels, and it was some of the best advice I've ever received. I now finally realize that we naturally spend 80% of our time on wasteful activities that bring little to know benefit to our lives. And it's totally normal, and you will always do it. It's literally a law of nature. The key is to stop, get off the merry go round, pay attention to the results of everything you do, and do more of what brings the positive results you are looking for. This book not only clearly explains why that concept is true and necessary, but provides lots of ways to implement it into your life. At the direction of this book, I eliminated more than 1/2 of the service offerings at my company, fired 20% of our clients, and I am now finally working a normal work week for the first time in a decade, while actually making more money! Trust me, this stuff works!
